Dental Sealant

A dental sealant is a thin, plastic coating that is applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars and premolars) to help protect them from decay. The surfaces of these teeth have deep grooves that can be difficult to clean with a toothbrush, making them more susceptible to decay-causing bacteria. Luckily, dental sealants are an effective way to prevent this.
